One injured, five trapped in residential building collapse in SW China

A three-story residential building collapsed in Guiyang, capital of southwest China's Guizhou Province, on Thursday, with one person killed and five more trapped under the debris, according to local authorities. 

A total of seven people were believed to be trapped after the collapse, but two of them were later rescued and rushed to a local hospital. 

The incident took place at around 5:00 a.m. local time. According to reports, the building was reportedly constructed by local residents.  

A recuse mission is currently underway and an investigation has been launched.
