At least 40 people have been killed in floods and  landslides triggered by monsoon rains in South Asia in the last two days. In Nepal, 27 people lost their lives after heavy rains hit the eastern and southern parts of the country. In neighboring India, 11 deaths have been  recorded in the country's northeastern states. Meanwhile, heavy rains and wind have been battering Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh for several days now. The UN said on Friday that two people, including a child, had died due to bad weather conditions. Aid groups are carrying out preventive measures and providing food rations to the refugees.
