Eighty-eight young Rubik's cube enthusiasts have been competing with one another in the Palestinian city of Ramallah, where contestants aged between six and 22 raced to solve nine different cubes. Ten-year-old Adam Tiro set a new record for solving the 3x3 Rubik's cube in 12.6 seconds. The cube is named after its Hungarian inventor Erno Rubik who developed his best-selling toy more than four decades ago.
