China has said it will sanction American companies involved in arms sales to Taiwan. It comes after Washington gave the green light to allow the souteast China region to purchase weapons for an estimated 2.2 billion U.S. dollars. Is this Washington trying to gain an advantage in negotiations, or is it something totally independent of all that?
