HK police chief condemns 'thug' protesters as officers lose fingers

Hong Kong police chief condemns 'thug' protesters after clashes between police and protesters over the extradition bill in Sha Tin on Sunday, which left 22 people injured with three in serious condition.

Two officers lost fingers amid violence, which led to the arrest of 37 people.

Police commissioner Stephen Lo Wai-chung has vowed to track down those responsible for the clashes and hold the "thugs" accountable.
