Beijing's museums add luster to summer vacation

Museums across Beijing are hosting a variety of events and activities to enrich students' lives during the summer vacation.

Chinese students usually have a long summer vacation every year from early July to the end of August.

According to the cultural heritage administration of the city, a total of 80 events will be held during the holiday.

From July 16 to August 22, the Palace Museum will offer a series of exhibitions, lectures and courses, aiming to enable young people to have a better understanding of Chinese culture.

The Beijing Museum of Natural History will offer a series of experiments and lectures to introduce scientific knowledge to students.

Visitors can participate in a series of tours at the Museum of Chinese Garden and Landscape Architecture, which showcases the history and culture of Chinese classic gardens.
