Chinese President Xi Jinping has welcomed Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Xi and Sheikh Mohamed reviewed their countries' bilateral relations, and discussed other international issues. They also witnessed the signing of deals in the fields of economy, oil and the environment. Sheikh Mohamed will attend a joint economic summit later today. This is his fourth visit to China and comes almost a year after President Xi visited the Emirates. Earlier, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said Beijing wanted to deepen cooperation in a new era.
