A magnitude-4.6 earthquake struck the Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture of Bayingolin, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Monday, according to China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The earthquake occurred at 20:32 BJT at a depth of 8 kilometers.

No casualties have been reported.
