On July 22, 2019, a chipmunk was captured on camera enjoying peanuts in a tree in Liaoning Province, northeast China.

Chipmunks are a small rodent that feeds on fruits, nuts, seeds and vegetables, thus they're sometimes considered a pest by humans since it will destroy plants in gardens and fields. Among the different kinds of chipmunks, the one that lives primarily in Asia is called the Siberian chipmunk.
