Chinese entrepreneur Justin Sun has rescheduled his lunch with billionaire investor Warren Buffett just three days ahead of the meeting since Sun is ill, according to a post on Weibo early on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old founder of cryptocurrency platform TRON bid a record 4.57 million U.S. dollars to have lunch with Buffett last month.

But plans for the dinner are going off course.

Sun said he was hospitalized for "sudden kidney stones" but his situation is stable. He also mentioned that his 4.57 million dollar donation to the Glide Foundation has been completed and remains valid.

TRON is a project dedicated to establishing a decentralized internet and online infrastructure, and was established by Sun in 2017. Just two years later, the company is worth 2.56 billion U.S. dollars.

Sun is also the current CEO of Internet software and services company BitTorrent.

The lunch had been set for Thursday in San Francisco. But both "parties agreed to reschedule at a later date," said TRON Foundation on Twitter.
