About CGTN Nature

In the Bawangling Series, we are going to unfold the secret life of Hainan black-crested gibbon, one of man's closest relatives living in the Bawangling National Nature Reserve, China's southern island province of Hainan. The number of the Hainan black-crested gibbon has decreased mainly in the 1970s due to habitat loss. With a population of merely 29, the tropical rainforest of Bawangling National Nature Reserve is their only habitat.
