U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton has started his two-day visit to South Korea. This is his first solo visit to the country since he took office last year and comes amid trade frictions between Seoul and Tokyo. Bolton and South Korean officials have discussed bilateral ties and the Korean Peninsula denuclearization. The U.S. national security adviser visited Japan last week before going to Seoul.
