ROK urged DPRK to halt actions unhelpful for easing tensions

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) fired two short-range missiles into the sea on Thursday, complicating efforts to resume stalled nuclear talks with Washington and signaling its anger over planned U.S.-ROK joint military exercises. CGTN's Shane Hahm said that ballistic missile technology – whether testing or not – is a strictly in violation of the existing UN resolutions against the DPRK at this moment.
