Three baby white whales made their public debut at the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in Zhuhai City, south China's Guangdong Province on July 24. They were transferred from a breeding base to the ocean park earlier this year, and are now fully accustomed to their new surroundings. Adult whales will teach the babies how to swim and communicate.

The white whale was placed on the International Union for Conservation of Nature's Red List in 2008 as being "near threatened". As it's tough for them to breed in the wild, the birth of these three whales will provide precious data for the research and protection of whales and dolphins.
