More than 20 people were killed when three back-to-back blasts rocked Kabul in the morning rush hour. The first blast targeted a mini-bus carrying employees of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum when passing the Police District 16 at 08:10 local time. The second blast took place a few minutes later nearby but caused no deaths, according to reports. The third blast was a car bomb that struck Police District 9. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the third attack.
