Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas announced on Thursday that the Palestinian leadership is intending not to abide by the peace agreements signed with Israel, in response to demolitions of dozens of Palestinian homes in East Jerusalem on Monday. Our correspondent Stephanie Freid in Tel Aviv says Abbas' threat is not first of its kind from Palestinian authorities and security cooperation is vital for both sides.
