Thousands of demonstrators gathered in Hong Kong's Yuen Long on Saturday despite a police ban. Four policemen were injured and 11 people were arrested for illegal gathering, suspected possession of weapons and attacking police. Activists built barricades out of street furniture and umbrellas. They held iron poles and removed fences from the road. Some threw rocks and bottles at police. Protesters also attacked police vehicles and private cars, and many refused to leave the area after the authority repeatedly ask them to.
