Hundreds of participants gathered this weekend for the Grand Est Mondial Air Ballons festival in Hageville, France to break a world record by putting 500 hot air balloons in flight in less than an hour, making it the greatest international hot air balloon gathering in the world. Pilots from 40 different countries and regions have signed up for this event.
