Jackie Chan is taking an ambassadorial role in supporting 2019 Chengdu World Police & Fire Games, according to the Games' organizing committee. In a promotional video, Chan wishes for great success of all the athletes and stresses the main theme of the games is highlighting duty and dreams. The news was released on Monday, 10 days before the games officially kick off in Chengdu, the capital city of southwest China’s Sichuan province. The event will last from August 8 to 18, 2019.
