5th Jackie Chan International Action Film Week ends

The 5th Jackie Chan International Action Film Week came to a star-studded end in the north China city of Datong on July 27. The closing ceremony featured a red carpet show by such celebrated filmmakers and performers as Jackie Chan himself, Tsui Hark, Chris Tucker, and Adrien Brody.

He Quan won the Best Director Award with his work "Shadows and Echoes". The Best Actor Prize went to Wang Qianyuan for his performance in "The Big Shot", and the Best Actress Award went to Fatima Sana Shaikh of India for "Thugs of Hindostan". The Lifetime Achievement Award was bestowed upon Chinese martial arts choreographer and film director Yuen Woo-ping.

The Jackie Chan International Film Week was launched in 2015 and has since become an important annual event for action filmmakers from across the globe.
