SW China's Sichuan issued highest rain storm alert since flood season 2019

Southwest China's Sichuan Province issued a Yellow Thunder Alert, the first such warning since this year's flood season began two months ago. A Yellow Alert is the third-highest of the four warning levels. Level IV Emergency Response has been activated across the province. As of July 28, some 24,000 people have been affected by heavy rain and floods. Over 2,000 people have been moved to safe areas.
