Bad weather delayed flight MU5331 from Shanghai's Hongqiao Airport by five hours on Sunday. The flight, which was scheduled to depart Shanghai at 9:00 p.m on July 28 did not leave until after 2 a.m. the next day, only to be turned back due to bad weather. Flight MU5331 was diverted back to Shanghai's Pudong Airport on approaching its destination due to the unrelenting weather in Beijing.
