Four people died and three others remain trapped inside a coal mine after a suspected gas explosion in Bijie City, southwest China's Guizhou Province, according to local government.
The blast occurred around 4 p.m. (0800 GMT) on Wednesday.
Four people have been rescued. The rescue operation is still underway.
