In 2015, Chinese President Xi Jinping put forward "five methods of poverty alleviation," namely developing poor people's own productivity, helping poor people relocate to better places, eco-compensation payments to preserve ecology, education and training, and social security payments to those who cannot work. The overall vision is simple: first, identify the reasons that cause impoverishment then tailor a series of targeted measures for each poor family to bring them out of poverty. But what kind of color can we add to analyzing each method?
