A white-browed laughingthrush is seen lingering on tree branches in Tongdao Dong Autonomous County, central China's Hunan Province.

It's a common pet bird that mainly inhabits low-altitude shrublands and preys on various insects.

One of the subspecies of the white-browed laughingthrush, the Garrulax sannio oblectans, is endemic to China.

The flocks are often mixed with masked laughingthrushes.
