There are more than one million fire alarm calls in China every year, which means more than 2,000 fire incidents a day. What is a day like for a firefighter? Imagine a soldier fighting a never-ending battle.

Duan Mingyu, 24, a young firefighter in Beijing, China, talks to CGTN about his daily life as a firefighter. He and his crew train on a daily basis. "It is a dangerous job," he said.
