The Hong Kong protests are entering their third month and are becoming increasingly violent. Masked protesters gathered in front of the station in the Tseung Kwan O district, cheering each time a rock smashed a window. Appointed Justice of the Peace by the Hong Kong government in 2017 Gu Minkang, a former professor and associate dean of the City University of Hong Kong's School of Law, analyzed the recent acts of violence from a legal point of view.
