Some 300 pilots and paragliders from 14 countries and regions in the world had their ideas and dreams fly at the 2019 Coupe Icare China - Qingdao International Flying Festival in Qingdao, an east China coastal city. The Coupe Icare Flying Festival originated in France and has a history spanning 45 years. It is the largest free-flying festival in the world, with an annual event held in France each September. During the Chinese event this year, the flyers demonstrated their skills and ingenuity in free-flying and cosplay flying activities over Sishe Mountain in Qingdao City, Shandong Province.
