Changbai Mountains in northeastern China's Jilin Province is home to many unique species. Among them, the Chinese merganser is a signature endangered species. Changbai Mountains lie on the border between northeastern China and the DPRK. Baitou peak is the tallest peak of Changbai Mountains at an elevation of 2,691 meters.
