The leader of the Hong Kong Baptist University Student Union, Keith Fong, has been arrested for the possession of laser pointers. Laser pointers are deemed weapons due to their ability to damage the vision if pointed at the eyes. Former Chief Executive of Hong Kong Leung Chun-ying took to Facebook to post about the incident, asking if Fong was using the laser pointers for legitimate uses, and whether or not more protesters are using them.
