Five brown bear cubs sharpened their climbing skills as they made their way up trees under their mother's watch at Martinselkonen in Finland.
One cub appeared to have mastered the art as it was able to climb 15 feet, while others were only a few feet off the ground. These shots were taken at Martinselkonen, a wilderness site in eastern Finland popular for bear watching, by Valtteri Mulkahainen.
