Extreme weather conditions have hit parts of Asia, including India, Australia and Japan. Floods in India have killed 20 people. In Japan, over 50 people from across 24 prefectures are said to have died in just a span of seven days. Major airports in Australia's Sydney and Melbourne have cancelled flights as damaging winds swept through southeastern states.
