A Pallas's sandgrouse is seen walking with its chick in the Tumuji National Nature Reserve in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
During the breeding period, the Pallas's sandgrouse take turns with the task of hatching.
But when the chicks are born, they are taken care of by the father only.
