Every spring, Dawei Mountain in central China’s Hunan Province is covered by a large area of sim's azalia that spreads about 70 square kilometers. The fame of this flower sea travels afar, for the flowers in this area are all wild. The idea of getting so close to nature has prompted many to visit every year.

There are about 30 species of sim's azalia in Dawei Mountain, many of them are endemic to this area. Countless clusters of flowers blooming in vibrant red or pink at the same time, forming a breathtaking view.
