Hong Kong International Airport has issued a statement saying that it will work to rearrange flights canceled due to demonstrations.
More than 200 flights have been canceled or delayed. Protesters are reported to be planning to gather again later on Tuesday. Major protests have been taking place at the airport since August 9.
Hundreds of demonstrators, dressed in black occupied the arrivals area, leaving only narrow paths for travelers to pass through. The cancelations left tens of thousands of passengers stranded.
