During August, Shanghai's Oriental Pearl Tower is showcasing three dome projection shows every night.  The "Fancy Shanghai" show, which started on Monday, covers more than 2,000 square meters and shows how the city has changed over the years. 

The first show in the hall at the base of the tower features the development of the city over the past 70 years, including photos of the Shanghai International Marathon and Shanghai Tourism Festival.

The show was co-produced by digital artists in Shanghai and an architectural projection mapping company from Hungary. A total of 30 high power projectors are used to make the show possible. 

Each show lasts 12 minutes and takes place at 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. every night.
