Skier Gu Eileen, 15, became the first naturalized Chinese player to win an international gold medal in the women's slopestyle event at the Australian New Zealand Cup on Saturday.

Gu finished the game with 240.00 points at the top, while Andrews Ruby of New Zealand and Yang Shuorui of China took the silver and bronze medals with 192.00 and 144.00 points respectively.

On June 6, Gu announced on Weibo that she was officially a Chinese citizen, becoming the first naturalized Chinese skiing player.
