Former NBA guard Ian Clark officially joins CBA's Xinjiang

NBA veteran guard Ian Clark has officially joined the Xinjiang Flying Tigers, the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) team based in Urumqi, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the team announced on Monday.

The 28-year-old Memphis spent six seasons in the NBA as a shooting guard.

He entered the NBA as an undrafted free agent out of Belmont University. He began his career with the Utah Jazz during the 2013-2014 season before making his way to Denver for a brief stint the following year. 

Clark won an NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors during the 2016-2017 season, and spent the last two seasons before signing with Xinjiang playing for the New Orleans Pelicans.

Clark played a total of 330 games in the NBA, averaging 5.6 points per game and shooting .439 from the field.
