The Qilian Mountains, located in the mid-latitude region of the Northern hemisphere, is at the convergence of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Mongolian Plateau, and Loess Plateau. Starting from the Peak Tuanjie at 5,808 meters, the highest peak of Qilian Mountains, glaciers, snow-capped mountains, forests, alpine meadows, wetlands, valleys, and deserts appear in front of our eyes. The diverse landforms of the Qilian Mountains create a splendid multi-dimensional picture.

The topography of the Qilian Mountains makes it a special eco-system and a natural paradise for animals to live and reproduce. In the video, we present a view of the red deer, haloxylons, white yaks, swans and bar-headed geese, Qilian savin, and the fascinating Danxia landform.
