Looking down, Shangri-La is a nature masterpiece unveiling before your eyes. Glaciers, snow mountains, grand canyons, and Danxia landforms exist together in this piece of heaven on earth. Stunning and breathtaking, our magnificent planet is also vulnerable.

Same as ice in Greenland, the Mingyong Glacier in Shangri-La is also melting due to global warming. And forests and wildlife in the mountains are similarly threatened because of climate change.

CGTN Nature documentary crew just finished filming in Southwest China's Yunnan Province, so stay tuned for our new series.
