Since Britain's handover in 1997, Hong Kong has been governed by the "One Country, Two Systems" principle. It's a model proposed by the late Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping. Amid recent tensions, experts and policymakers gathered in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen to find a solution to the unrest in Hong Kong. There they reviewed Deng Xiaoping's thoughts on the policy of "One Country, Two Systems."
