Live: Hong Kong police's daily briefing on the protests

Hong Kong police hold their daily press conference on Monday afternoon. During the weekend, some protesters damaged smart lampposts in eastern Kowloon, set up barricades and blocked a section of the street outside Sham Shui Po Police Station. There were also cases of petrol bombs and fire extinguishers being used against officers. 

Update: Hong Kong police at an emergency press conference on Monday morning reported that 15 officers were injured after being attacked by rioters.
