Ship loses contact after sending distress signal in eastern Indonesia

A cargo ship carrying 25 people lost contact after sending a distress signal in waters off the eastern Indonesia on Sunday, according to the head of communication for media at the national search and rescue office, Yusuf Latief said to Xinhua.
The search operation will resume on Monday, he added.
