Some radical protesters escalated their violence by attacking police officers during protests in Hong Kong's Tsuen Wan Sunday night. Hong Kong Police confirmed a warning shot was fired into the air when lives were threatened, and no one was hurt. A senior Hong Kong Police officer defended the officers' self-defense decision, saying the officers "had no other choices" and the move was to "protect themselves, other colleagues and the safety of the people at the scene."
