Beijing Daxing International Airport completed its low visibility flight test with five aircraft landing safely. The test lasted about four hours. The flight test is to verify the new airport's measures and instrument flight procedures for low visibility operations. When the airport opens, it will be able to operate with a minimum visibility of 50 meters. Its ability to cope with low visibility weather will reduce the chance of flight delays. The airport is scheduled to open before September 30.
