This Spanish tradition began in northeastern Span in the early 14th century. At that time, the traders tried to increase the speed of transporting cattle in order to sell them in the market by using strategy of fear and excitement to run of the cattle, and then the tradition continue to exist until today. /VCG Photo
On the other hand, some people say that the traditional sport is cruel and it should be banned. According to the city council of Pamplona, between 50 and 100 people are injured during the event every year. /VCG Photo
