Tourism, hotel industry hit hard as HK protests drag on

The recent violence in Hong Kong has hit the city's economy hard, especially in the tourism and hospitality sectors. The city government said the number of visitors to Hong Kong is half what it was last year between August 15th and 20th. About one-third of the 18,000 registered tour guides in Hong Kong are currently not making any money.
