The Palace Museum in central Beijing welcomes a wide range of artwork and collections from its Russian counterpart, Moscow's Kremlin Museums.
The Forbidden City hosts the exhibition titled "Russian Court Ceremony" featuring numerous valuable cultural treasures, which opened on Thursday.
On display at its northen Gate of Divine Might are a total of 151 pieces (sets) of precious artifacts, including the Czars' crowns and garments, military uniforms, paintings, decorations, jewelry, court files and all sorts of utensils.

These rarely-seen exhibits were used at the court ceremonies of great significance during the 18th and 19th centuries.
A majority of them have been showcased out of Russia for the first time.
This rare opportunity to have a close look at these exotic antiques and art pieces has drawn large crowds.
The exhibition depicts a spectacular picture of Russian court ceremonies, such as coronations, parades and banquets.

Embracing exquisite artistic patterns and details, the artwork embodies Russia's fine craftsmanship, profound historic heritage and cultural treasures.
The collaborative exhibition of the Palace Museum and the Kremlin Museums is one of the highlight events in celebration of the 600th anniversary of the Forbidden City, a cluster of former emperors' offices and residence of royal families from 1368 to 1911.
The exhibition will run through November 8.
