Authorities in Florida have declared a state of emergency over an approaching hurricane. They've asked residents on its east coast to stock up well on necessities, such as food and water. Hurricane Dorian is expected to hit the south-eastern state over the upcoming holiday weekend, before tracking north into Georgia and South Carolina. Dorian has already plowed through the U.S. Virgin islands and Culebra, an island belonging to Puerto Rico. It's expected to become a major hurricane by Friday afternoon and continue to gain in strength before making landfall on Monday.
