With schools scheduled to re-open in September, some in Hong Kong have been trying to incite students to boycott the academic semester. Continued radical demonstrations and violent clashes have triggered social unrest, with some even attempting to target the children of Hong Kong police officers and retaliate against them through school bullying. People from all walks of life, including the Hong Kong Education Bureau, have appealed to stop any form of strike and bullying on school campus, and protect schools from violent politics.
